From 1st January 2025 we will no longer be serving evening meals on Sunday & Monday evenings. Apart from Sunday’s in bank holidays.
Dining at Warwick Hall
We pride ourselves on the best of British cuisine, taking advantage of the wonderful food resources available here in Cumbria. We buy from local farms, from our superb butcher, and an old fashioned local green grocer who offers daily deliveries of fruit and vegetables. Also anything we can, we grow ourselves! Our milk is even brought to the door in glass bottles while you sleep!
If you’ve forgotten what genuine crackling tastes like, or Cumbrian lamb raised on the neighbouring fell, or fish freshly caught just off the coast at Maryport you’ll be delighted to re-discover the pleasure of real food.
We hope you’ll find our menus interesting and original while offering you the best of traditional British Dinner Party cuisine. Our menu is seasonal, but the firm favourites are available every evening.
Booking for dinner is requested but not essential, we assume everyone is going to eat until you tell us otherwise! We usually serve dinner between 19:00-19:30, but we can accommodate guests outside of these times, as we know what the M6 can be like! – When using our online booking system, it will ask if you would like to dine with us. You can always change your mind later of course.
If you are using booking channels such as Booking.com, Expedia or Hotels.com to book your room you can always email or telephone us to let us know if you would like to dine.
Our dining is reserved mainly for our residents, but if you would like to dine with us but are not staying with is this can be arranged either via email or over the telephone. We are however unable to accept walk-ins as everything is made fresh.

Open Thursday, Friday & Saturday every week.
Luxury Afternoon Tea (Includes a glass of Prosecco) is £29.00 per person
Booking is essential, and we politely ask for a 48 hour notice on all afternoon tea bookings.
Please make us aware of any dietary requirements or allergies at the time of booking.
Funeral Tea
We understand that organising a funeral reception can be a sensitive situation so at Warwick Hall we aim to make the planning as easy and stress-free as possible.
We have all lost somebody close at some point in our lives and know how heartbreaking and traumatic a time this can be. Whilst family, friends and acquaintances of the deceased will certainly want to attend a funeral and pay their respects, it is usually the task of those closest to arrange such a gathering.
Entrusting us with the organisation of the funeral tea or reception means that you have one less thing to worry about.
